A WordPress plugin that allows you to set and display the latest modified dates and times when updating old posts or pages.
Great for evergreen and skyscraper content to automatically refresh the last modified date after the content is updated.
The plugin also adds the Last Modified column next to the Publish Date column in the post/page list.
How to use it:
1. Install and activate the ‘WP Last Modified Info’ plugin and we’re ready to go.
2. Config the WP Last Modified Info with the following options.
- Enable for Posts/Pages on Frontend
- Show as Human Readable Format
- Show Last Modified Time
- Show Last Modified Date
- Date / Time Seperator
- Last Modified Info Display Method: before/after content or manual
- Custom Message to Display
- Display Last Modified Author Name
- Include Custom Post Types (if any)
- Show Modified Info on Admin Bar
- Custom CSS Properties
- Delete Plugin Data upon Uninstallation
3. Customize the template tags options:
- Enable Template Tags
- Show as Human Readable Format
- Last Modified date/time format
- Custom Message before Modified Info
- Display Last Modified Author Name
- Set Custom CSS Class (if applicable)
4. You can also add last modified/updated dates by using shortcodes:

[lmt-page-modified-info]
