The Easy Media Replace plugin allows the admin to quickly and directly replace any uploaded media files (images, videos, etc) with new files in the media library.
How to use it:
1. Download the plugin and upload the unzipped files to the WordPress’s plugin folder.
2. Install and activate the plugin and we’re ready to go.
3. Login to the admin panel and replace the media file by simply uploading a new file in the media library.
4. The plugin also allows you to re-generate thumbnails (Images only). This option will remove the attachment’s thumbnails and regenerate new ones for the uploaded image. In addition, you can also update the modified time after uploading.
